Collaborative Writing: Exploring The Movie "Her"

My group members, Berat Çaputlu, Mustafa Emre Dalkılıç, and I worked together to write a review of the movie "Her" by Spike Jonze. We were tasked with creating a film review for a university magazine(imaginary of course), and we used Google Docs to collaborate.

We started by watching "Her" and discussing its characters. Starring Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams, and Scarlett Johansson, the film explores love and loneliness in a futuristic world. We made sure to follow the guidelines, mentioning the film's director, main actors, and setting. We wrote about the plot without giving away the ending. We also focused on the cinematography and themes of the movie.

Working together on Google Docs was a great experience. We all contributed our thoughts and ideas, which made the review more detailed. The real time editing and commenting features of Google Docs made it easy to collaborate and improved our work. We could see each other's changes instantly and discuss them right there on the document.

We also shared our review with another group, Elif and Derya, who reviewed "Thelma the Unicorn." We gave them feedback on their review. I pointed out areas for improvement, like adding pictures and a trailer. They also commented on our review, which guided us to improve it further. This exchange was really helpful and showed how collaboration can enhance our work.

Using Google Docs for this project was effective. It allowed us to work together and produce a well written review. This collaborative experience has improved our writing and also strengthened our teamwork skills.
